The next setting and the main setting is Boston, this is where Amos and the Copelands live. I don't know if Boston would of been part of a slave state or not. The time era in this story is around the 1720's - 1740's. The Copelands live in a large farmhouse where Amos and the rest of the family live.
Dakota Neff Pd. 5th- I think that Boston was part of the slavestates considering that they had sold slaves there. But not everyone in the state was with slavery. The Copelands, for example, were Quakers. So were many of the other families in Boston.
